UKSA Coach 3 (4 Star Sea / Surf)
We are currently seeking to recruit a senior kayak/ canoeing instructor, to head up one of our four watersports teams within the Academy. This person needs excellent motivation skills, enthusiasm and a passion for their sport. We are currently developing into new disciplines within the canoe / kayaking scheme, which needs to developed by an inspiring and experienced coach. The candidate will join our senior instructor team at the academy. They will mentor around twelve instructors, along with producing staff training and entertainments programs for the whole fifty plus watersports team, heading towards the common goal of a successful season.
The job will also involve teaching a variety of watersports disciplines to a wide range of customers on our RYA Adult & Youth short courses; UKSA Schools & Groups; and the long term career training courses UKSA offer. The ideal candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills, need to be a strong team player and have a proven ability to multi-task.
Essential experience required:
Candidates must be a minimum of coach 3 / 4 star (surf / sea)
Additional Beneficial Qualifications / Experience:
- RYA sailing / RYA windsurfing Instructor
- BSA Instructor
- RLSS Pool life guard
- Experience working with a range of groups
