UKSA Ocean Training Skipper Vacancy
The UKSA is a registered charity and dedicated training establishment for a variety of waterbased activities.
We offer a range of training for customers looking to improve their leisure sailing through to people seeking a career in the yachting industry.
We are currently seeking to recruit RYA qualified Yacht Master Instructor to skipper our BT Challenge 67ft “UKSA Albatross”. Albatross is used for the UKSA’s RYA Ocean Yacht Master Training program and is based in the Mediterranean and Caribbean throughout the year.
The role will involve:
- Co-ordinating and managing the Yachts Ocean training program in the UK, Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
- Managing the yachts maintenance program and refit periods
- Financial control of the yachts annual budget
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent inter-personal skills
- Need to be a strong team player
- Have the ability to multi task
Experience required:
- Yachting industry experience is essential
- Candidates must be a minimum of an RYA Yacht Master Instructor and RYA Ocean Qualified
Contract: Initially 12 month
