Organisations working with young people

UKSA builds partnerships with charities who are directly engaged in helping young people, either working directly with individuals or with groups.

Examples of some of these partnerships are:

The Ellen MacArthur Trust

The Trust works with young people in recovery from cancer and leukaemia and UKSA provide the expertise and facilities for the Trust to take their young people sailing in order to build their self confidence and the skills to re-establish beneficial relationships with their peers.

East Side Young Leaders

This organisation works in London and exists to nurture and develop the leadership potential of young African and Caribbean males, empowering them to become the next generation of successful leaders. East Side Young Leaders sees a huge opportunity to develop their young people by bringing them to UKSA to experience a new environment and develop life skills to increase their ability to succeed and enjoy a fulfilling life within their communities.

RYA Sailability

This charity co-ordinates opportunities for people with physical and sensory disabilities to experience activities that may ordinarily be inaccessible to them, and learn new skills that will enhance their lives. UKSA works with the charity in providing that access and teaching new skills.
