UKSA gets extreme
UKSA is pushing traditional watersports instructor training to the limit with a brand new 22 week course, WATERSPORTS EXTREME.
Unlike any other course on the market, students can gain instructor qualifications in windsurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, dinghy sailing, kitesurfing and waterskiing, as well as PADI diving qualifications. Students will also come away with a toolkit of essential watersports instructor skills: first aid, VHF radio, power boat level 2 and employer skills such as customer service and presentation techniques.
The full-on course will take students to some of the best watersports locations in the world, including extreme sports junkies’ heavens, Dahab, Egypt and Vassiliki, Greece. Working in partnership with watersports holiday companies Mark Warner and Neilson, UKSA is able to offer students a choice of great locations with the latest kit and comfiest accommodation.
UKSA has been running watersports career training for over 15 years, but has never offered a single programme covering so many watersports disciplines. Feedback from employers around the globe has highlighted the need for multi-qualified instructors due to the high demand for a variety of extreme sports experiences by clients.
In addition to WATERSPORTS EXTREME, UKSA is offering flexible training programmes for students wishing to be qualified in a smaller number of disciplines. A new modular structure allows students to select core modules in seven watersports disciplines in a choice of locations in Greece, the Red Sea and Cowes.
