This module provides knowledge of giving first aid safely at sea. The course contains both theoretical and practical elements to build capability and confidence.
Pre-requisite experience:
Candidates must be 18 years old or over and have served a minimum of six months sea time.

Chief Mate (Yachts less than 3000gt)
Examination and assessment:
Contains a practical assessment and written examination at the end of the course.
