MCA Training Introduction

Maritime charity UKSA is an accredited MCA training provider offering professional courses for captain and crew. From STCW95 to Master 3000gt, we provide the training and expertise necessary to help you progress to the next stage of your career. Based at the heart of the international sailing community in Cowes, our 3.5 acre campus is one of the largest residential maritime centres in Europe.

Learning Environment

Our learning environment will help you achieve at your best. Study facilities are available each evening, often together with additional tuition and support from the lecture team.

Lecture Team

Our lecturers are selected for their breadth and depth of marine experience and their ability to teach effectively at all levels. Each has relevant experience at sea with qualifications including Class 1 Master Mariner, practising maritime lawyer, ex superyacht skipper, Class 1 Engineer, yachtmaster examiner and radio officer.

Lecture Facilities

We have a range of modern lecture rooms to suit group size and activity including: simulator suite with the ARPA Transas software for Navigation and Radar including AIS; a full range of electronic navigational aids including ECDIS, seamanship and yacht technology facility with a comprehensive range of yacht equipment.

Residential Facility

Our waterfront facilities are fully residential, offering a variety of accommodation including the choice of single and twin ensuite rooms enabling you to live comfortably whilst you study.
