Master 200gt Limited / OOW 500gt
The course covers all aspects of navigational safety with an emphasis on collision regulations, operational safety, responses to emergencies and pollution control. Also included are aspects of Master Business and Law.
Pre-requisite experience:
Yachtmaster Offshore shore-based and MCA recognised Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competency, STCW Basic Training and GMDSS Restricted Operators Certificate (ROC)
Duration:
6 Days
Training towards:
Master (Code vessels less than 200gt not more than 150miles from a safe haven) / Officer of the Watch (Yachts less than 500gt).
Examination and assessment:
MCA Master (Code vessels less than 200gt) oral examination. Students will need to book their final Master oral exam directly with the MCA.
