The course covers all aspects of navigational safety with emphasis on collision regulations, operational safety, responses to emergencies and pollution control. Also included are aspects of Master Business and Law.
Pre-requisite experience:
Yachtmaster Ocean shore-based and Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate of Competency, STCW Basic Training and GMDSS General Operators Certificate (GOC)
Duration:
6 Days
Training towards:
Master (Code vessels less than 200gt unlimited area) / Officer of the Watch (Yachts less than 500gt).
Examination and assessment:
MCA Master (Code vessels less than 200gt unlimited area) oral examination. Students will need to book their final Master oral exam directly with the MCA.
