Senior Watersports Instructors in Southwest France & UK


We are looking to employ suitably experienced, enthusiastic individuals to take on senior roles in our centres. As a senior you will organise and oversee the running of a variety of activities & assist in the completion of centre paperwork.


Candidates should have good communication skills, be conscientious and must show initiative.


Must be hard working, motivated, flexible and will be professional at all times.


RYA Senior Watersports qualifications required, either in Sailing or Windsurfing.


Full UK driving licence preferred.

Afloat Instructor (Maternity Cover Position), based Sea Cadet Training Centre Weymouth.The role of the Instructor is to assist the Chief Instructor and his team in the delivery of afloat training which will involve the supervision of, and training delivery to young people. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people and hold the RYA Dinghy Instructor (Coastal), RYA Safetyboat (Coastal), RYA Powerboat Instructor (Coastal) qualifications as a minimum. Knowledge of maintenance would be useful.

• RYA Power boat Instructor (min L2)

• Rowing Instructor preferable, although coxswain would be acceptable as full training will be given.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated watersports instructors to join China's premier Sailing Centre. Beijing Sailing Center is the only sailing school in China offering courses to suit anyone following the RYA/BCU guidelines. We are recruiting seasonal and full time watersports instructors. The skills that we seek are dinghy sailing, yachting, kayaking, windsurfing and raft building. Applications from multi-activity instructors will be more successful, especially with regard to year-round positions. One or more instructing qualifications, RYA First Aid & Safety Boat and experience working with children are all essential.

Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development have a number of vacancies across our centres to deliver quality outdoor educational activities to young people across Surrey.
We need Bank Outdoor Education Workers to start from April 2012 based at one of three centres.
As part of Surrey County Council’s Youth Service, we aim to enable young people to participate in facilitated outdoor learning experiences that develop and recognise progress in their social, personal and physical skills.
We have three main centres with site specific activities, these are: Thames Young Mariners in Ham, Richmond, High Ashurst in Mickleham, Dorking, and Henley Fort in Guildford.

You will need to have NGB’s/experience in the relevant activities. A minimum requirement for Thames Young Mariners:
 R.Y.A. Dinghy Instructor,
 Level 2 kayak coach/UKCC Level 1 Coach

You will have to be interested in working with young people and have group work experience.

Multi Qualified Watersports Instructors required for holiday centre in Greece. The club caters to families throughout July and August and groups of friends in May, June and September. Instructors are therefore teaching all levels of sailors, windsurfers, waterskiiers and wakeboarders.

Applicants must have either Dinghy or Windsurf Instructor qualifications.

We are looking for an experienced RYA Instructor who has preferably done seasons abroad any surfing, SUP and kitesurf experience would be helpful has a real passion for watersports and wants to be involved in running our windsurfing club and tuition centre at West Wittering. You will need to have good people skills and enjoy working with customers of all ages.
You will be based on the beach at West Wittering where you will be involved in looking after club members, organising tuition, taking bookings and dealing with rescue and safety.
We have a full RRD and Ezzy Test/Hire Centre and the latest kitesurfing, surfing,SUP and kids windsurf equipment. www.2xs.co.uk We also run one of the most progressive windsurfing/kitesurfing schools in the UK and we are developing new teaching methods as well as new format courses. We are also the first stand-up paddle school in Britain.
You will need to have all your relevant certificates up to date including First Aid, Powerboat and your teaching certificates.

We have vacancies for one or two multi-qualified instructor from May to August - potentially longer depending on bookings. We don't require experience as we will provide full training within our 'instructor development' programme. However, they must be multi qualified in terms of their instructor qualifications.



They will receive training in all areas of centre operations. So not just teaching, but also maintenance, health and safety systems, centre cleaning and general duties. They will be also be expected to work the catering area serving teas, coffees and snacks to customers. Instructors will also have the opportunity to get involved in the office and working on customers sales and service, if they show the right skills.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and have a basic understanding of sailing, boat driving, or canoeing. Training will be provided.

You need to be available between the 1st of June 2012 and the 19th of August 2012.

Applicants must have either significant relevant experience or qualifications.

Must be a minimum of 18 years old and without a criminal record.
