Watersports Instructor Modules

Dinghy Sailing

At UKSA our dinghy fleet is continuously updated, giving you the best equipment to train with during each level of your course. As with all elements of this course, you will have access to experienced instructors who will guide you through to your instructor qualification.

Windsurfing

You will complete your windsurfing training in Egypt. Training in an overseas environment will help you prepare for work in a different country if that’s where you would like to take your career. Closer to home, the Island is a great location, as whatever the weather there will be some great windsurfing to be had in a variety of locations and water conditions.

Kayaking

Having kayak instructor in your watersports portfolio will improve your employability, as this all-weather sport is something that many employers will require you to teach. On the course you will experience flat water, surf and white water kayaking. You will have access to a range of kayak equipment, each selected so that you get the most out of your training.

Career Prospects

Following our Watersports Instructor Training, there will be many career opportunities open to you all over the world. Options include instructing to a senior level, resort or watersports centre manager, teaching or working on a superyacht. (STCW 95 or Crew Training would give access to these jobs on superyachts)

To help you secure employment, you will have access to our online job service throughout your time at UKSA and once you have graduated.
