Yachting CoursesWatersports Instructor Internship
The UKSA Watersports Internship is designed to qualify you as a multi disciplined watersports instructor and provide you with your first season’s guaranteed work placement under the watchful guidance and stewardship of either UKSA’s or Neilson’s most experienced instructors.
The programme also gives you the opportunity to upgrade your skills and qualifications, gaining some valuable instructor endorsement qualifications.
Selection process
We hold 1 to 1 interviews for the selection process. Please register your interest for the next selection days.
Pre-requisite experience:
A minimum of one week’s recent dinghy and windsurfing experience. If you do not have this experience, our Kickstart course will get you up to speed.
Duration:
18 weeks training plus a full season paid work experince at either UKSA or Neilson
Location:
Training and UKSA work experience: UK / Egypt
Neilson work experience: Worldwide

Following our Watersports Instructor Training, there will be many career opportunities open to you all over the world. Options include instructing to a senior level, resort or watersports centre manager, teaching or working on a superyacht. (Crew Training may be required)

Personal Watercraft Instructor: Tthis new course is designed for Superyacht charter industry professionals. Mediterranean maritime administrations now require jetski operators to have a certificate which means Superyachts carrying jetskis must employ a PWC instructor.
