Spend the summer sailing two of the last of the legendry Brixham Sailing Trawlers in some of the UK s most spectacular cruising grounds. We require cooks for our 2 largest vessels Leader (built 1892) and Provident (built 1924).


Trinity Sailing provides adventure sailing holidays and youth development voyages aboard our fleet of traditional sailing vessels. This year we will be operating from the West Coast of Scotland and the South Coasts of Devon and Cornwall with trips to the Scilly Isles, Brittany and the Channel Islands. The boats operate a six night voyage during this time you will visit a mixture of bustling ports and quiet and remote anchorages.


The Cook will work in a team with three or four other full time staff on board. During cruising holidays you will be responsible for all meals on board Breakfast Lunch and Dinner plus afternoon tea for up to 19 people. During Sail Training voyages you will be responsible for supervising young people in the galley. Other duties include, control of food stocks, weekly food order and ensuring the vessel is clean and tidy.


During turn around you will ensure all the bunks are made up and the vessel is cleaned and fresh provisions are loaded and stored.





No sailing experience is required but as you will be required to cook at sea an understanding of this would be an advantage. Excellent team skills and “can do” attitude is essential. The potential exists for a cook interested in sailing to make the transition to a sailing role in the future.

50 foot 1944 wooden trawler yacht (ketch).
Couple required. Captain must have a minimum of Yachtmaster Offshore.

Couples required to run luxury Crewed charters on catamarans 50ft plus.
Skipper requires minimum YM Offshore, STCW 95, maintenance skills and preferably charter industry experience.
Hostess/Mate requires STCW95, cooking and sailing skills.
One crew member needs to be a certified Divemaster or must be willing to obtain this certification within the first 6 months of employment.

To run one week and two week cruises, mainly around the Cyclades and Sporades on yachts of around 50 feet. The cruises will be a mixture of private charters and mixed groups, the latter following set itineraries, who may wish to take part in sailing the yacht.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the yacht, including provisioning, providing breakfast and lunch, organizing laundry, cleaning and undertaking any necessary repairs and routine servicing. You will be used to operating with minimal shore side support where the management of the wider aspects of the operation are as important as the sailing. You will be need to deliver the programme to budget and will submit weekly reports to Head Office of all spend.
The Skipper must be minimum RYA Yacht Master with Commercial Endorsement and have previous commercial skippering experience of at least 2000 miles. You will have past experience of skippering yachts of similar size in rough weather. The Cyclades and Sporades can be a challenging sailing areas and the role is not suitable for newly qualified skippers.
The Hostess must have previous crewing experience, and proven catering skills, including the ability to cater whilst underway.

DECKHAND/CREW

Experienced Male Deckhand required for 51m charter motor yacht.

We are looking for 2 young, enthusiastic, well presented and well spoken deckhands for a new build 72m motor yacht due for launch in June.

Deckhand required for 82ft Racer/Cruiser based in the US. Minimum YM Offshore and some good sailing experience outside of training courses, preferably racing experience and also diving certificate. You will need a B1/B2 visa for this role.

Applicants with Master 200 required for wind farm support vessels. Staring as deckhands but good opportunities to move up to skipper quickly for the right person.

Female Deckhand required for 47 m gaff schooner. Must have STCW Basic Training and ENG1 and some experience on a Gaff schooner or gaff cutter, classic racing, and good sailing knowledge. Start ASAP.

Female deckhand required for 54m motor yacht. STCW95, ENG1 and Yacht Rating certificate plus 1 year's experience in a similar role.

Deckhands required for various superyachts 60m+ with previous experience very advantageous. Must hold STCW Basic Training as standard, then any form of Yachtmaster is a plus but not essential, most yachts prefer experience.

Deckhand required for a 56 metre sailing yacht.
Sailing experience on large yachts is preferred but not essential and any industry experience is a bonus.

Deckhand required for 44m motor yacht. Good tender driving skills, STCW 95 and ENG1 are a must and any more qualifications would be a plus. At this time the position is seasonal until October/November.

Private family yacht require delivery crew. Depart UK 2nd June (approx. 1 week).

Delivery crew required for a 24m private sailing yacht from Antigua to Newport, Rhode Island. No specific qualifications are required but priority will be given to applicants with relevant experience and/or qualifications.

The delivery is from the 9th-16th May from Greenock (near Glasgow) to Portsmouth. Challenger 72. Ideal for anyone looking to gain some more bigger boat experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, people orientated Mate to join our crew for the summer season from asap to 30 September 2012. The job will involve working aboard our 60ft Ocean Race Yachts for day sails in the Solent from Hamble. This is a fixed term contract with pay of £1200/month.

Mate ideally with Yachtmaster Ocean (but will accept Yachtmaster Offshore) required for 50ft sailing yacht as a support vessel for a trans-Atlantic swimming challenge.
