Course overview

An introduction to first aid for the leisure sailor. The course provides sufficient knowledge to take immediate and appropriate life-saving action until a more qualified person is able to assume responsibility. Includes first aiders' responsibility, asphyxia, burns and scalds, unconsciousness, heart attacks, shock, wounds and injuries, hypothermia, drowning and resuscitation.
