Introduces a wide range of skills and knowledge that with practice enables you to tackle essential maintenance tasks with confidence. Knowledge of all aspects of yacht maintenance is a vital seamanship skill for all boat owners and anyone who voyages offshore. This weekend course is the perfect introduction, covering all aspects of keeping a yacht fit and ready for sea, from servicing winches to choosing the correct varnish.

The course includes sail care and repair, winch maintenance, skin fittings, sanitation systems, deck fittings, working with GRP, varnishes and paints. Using the full capability of our purpose-built marine training workshops, the course is a mixture of practical, theory and discussion.
