Course Overview

Making full use of our new J80 Racing Keelboats, this course is designed for people with some previous sailing experience in either dinghies or small yachts. It covers the basics of keelboat racing, with a focus on teamwork and manoeuvres. It allows participants to be effective crew members on sportsboats, keelboats or small yachts.

Benefits

This course covers both theory and practice of keelboat and yacht racing. The focus is on the allocation of roles on board and what each is responsible for in the main manoeuvres. Participants will be able to try all positions on board, giving a greater understanding of how the whole team fits together.
