Skill/knowledge equivalent to RYA Powerboat Level 2.

Course overview

Provides the skills required to act as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, both for racing and training activities.

This course teaches more advanced boat handling, plus rescue techniques for dinghies, windsurfers and canoes, and towing. It also includes elements of race management and mark laying.
