RYA Keelboat scheme
Keelboating puts you in command of a larger vessel and provides the perfect introduction to the joys of yachting. With their fixed keels, our 26ft Colgate keelboats have excellent stability but are still responsive and great fun to sail. The RYA Keelboat scheme follows a similar format to that for dinghy sailing, and all the courses in this Dinghy section may be taken in a keelboat, although the syllabi differ slightly to reflect the different styles of boat.
