Shoreside facilities

Our ongoing commitment to upgrading our premises and facilities on the Academy's self-contained 3.5 acre campus provides all our visitors with the ideal place to relax and unwind after an action-packed day afloat.

We have accommodation for 270 students on site, with school and group visitors housed in a range of secure self contained, single sex, dormitory style 6 or 8 berth rooms. Single and twin room accommodation is available for group leaders adjacent to the group's accommodation area.

As well as a range of lecture facilities that can cater for groups of up to 100 people, there's an indoor swimming pool and dining facilities that provide a menu of wholesome, hot meals and packed lunches. Don't worry if you have specific dietary requirements – just let us know when you book so we can meet your needs.

Disabled access

Providing access for everyone, whether ashore or on the water, has always been a priority for UKSA. We are therefore able to provide a safe watersports experience for people with a wide range of disabilities.
