Keelboating

Our 8 keelboats are designed with learning in mind. With some keelboats specifically laid out to aid the entry-level sailor, these boats will ensure that your group will enjoy learning this new sport. As you progress we have three J80’s which offer exciting racing and asymmetrical sailing ensuring their is always something new to learn.

UKSA Keelboat Fleet

Colgates 26’s

UKSA imported a fleet of Colgate 26ft keelboats directly from the US for their unique ability to make sailing easy without sacrificing performance, stability, space or comfort. With their large open deck, they are an ideal platform for groups to explore the Solent.

J80’s

In 2008, UKSA acquired three J80’s (26ft). These fantastic boats take all the best aspects of the Colgate 26’s with a little bit more excitement for the more experienced sailor. We can use training sails or race sails depending on group experience and ability. The J80 is also known for its large asymmetrical spinnaker.
