Our Fleet

Learn to sail with UKSA instructors – carefully selected for their friendliness, professionalism and enthusiasm

Our fleet

Our courses offer state-of-the-art fun at every level, from beginners' craft, two or three person advanced asymmetric dinghies, keelboats and multi-hulls. At the heart of the fleet are more than 30 Laser Pico's, designed specifically for entry level sailing. With our professional guidance they offer young and old alike an enjoyable experience. Pico's are perfectly balanced with positive handling, self-bailing, and easy control of power through the sail trimming system. If you should capsize they are easy to get upright, climb aboard and continue sailing.

The Pico has the ability to cope with many different sailing conditions and the sail size can be easily adjusted to suit sailor weight and wind strength. Our Dart 16s catamarans offer exhilarating fast sailing, the two slim hulls slice through the water efficiently and quickly, while providing stable platform that gives entry-level sailors a comfortable ride. The speed, excitement and ease of use of these craft will have you grinning from ear to ear.

In addition to our 12 single-handed Lasers, the rest of the fleet is made up with progression in mind. RS Visions, Vagos, Xenon's and Topper Buzz's are ideal for those with a little more experience. Offering stability, space, comfort and performance, these two and three-person craft give all levels of sailor plenty to look forward to.

Our base in West Cowes on the Isle of Wight gives easy access to a wide variety of watersports venues. The Island offers everything from sheltered creeks, coves and estuaries suitable for beginners, to the more challenging environments of the Solent and the south-west coast of the Island. With such a wide variety of venues it's no wonder Cowes has long been renowned as the heart of the sailing world.
