Free weekends

How would you fancy, a free weekend away from school, a bit of fun on the water, the opportunity to meet some new acquaintances and a chance to see what the UK’s Premier Sailing establishment can do for you and your school.

The UK Sailing Academy is based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and we are offering teachers the chance to see what the Academy is all about on a free ‘Teacher Preview Weekend’. Dates for the upcoming season are detailed below.

The weekends start with an arrival on Saturday Morning, before lunch then a introduction to what the UK Sailing Academy is all about and an orientation of the Academy and its many facets. Dinner on Saturday evening will start with a trip up river to one of the local restaurants famed for their local catch.

Sunday starts with breakfast before you get a chance to take part in some of the activities, then departing for home after a light lunch.

Also included in the weekend is Accommodation at the Academy and a free return ferry from Southampton to East Cowes for foot passengers.

This is purely a chance for you to see what we have to offer at the UKSA. This isn’t a weekend about pressuring you into making a booking.

Places are limited for the weekends, and due to this programme's success we can only accept two attendees per group.
