Keelboating

With a fleet of 8 keelboats, UKSA are able to offer sailing activities all year round in this non-immersion sport. Keelboats are an ideal craft for young people, making the introduction of the concepts of teamwork easy and enjoyable. Youngsters are destined to enjoy this exciting type of sailing with a specific ‘keelboat instructor’ onboard at all times to teach, coach and inspire young sailors.

Keelboating is yachting on an accessible scale – keelboats bridge the gap between dinghies and yachts. They have the stability of a yacht, so wetsuits aren't required, but workloads are sufficiently small to enable the boats to be handled by people as young as 8 years old.
